한국여성정책연구원 Korean Women's Development Institute

7월 2일부터 3일까지 양일 동안 미국 유타 주 Salt Lake City에서 “Macroeconomics and International Economics” 타이틀로 젠더에 관한 4번째 국제 회의가 개최되었다. 이 회의는 Ford Foundation의 GEM- IWG, the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the United Nations Department for Economic and Social Affairs, Division for the Advancement of Women, UNDP, UNIFEM이 공동 후원한 다. 특히 GEM- IWG는 1994년 35명의 경제 학자들이 국제적인 네트워크로 거시경제와 국제 경제학을 통해 양성 평등한 정책형성과 연구를 증진시키기 위해 만든 기구이다.
