1984년에 젠더예산 분석을 시작하였다. 예컨대 남호주州의 1985~86년간 여성과 소녀를 위해 특별히 배정된
예산은 1%미만인 것으로 나타났으며, 세계 최초의 시도로서 이후 남아프리카공화국과 영연방 사무국 등의
젠더예산분석 시도에 전형이 되었다.
- Overseas Examples of Gender Auditing -
Gender auditing began in 1984. From 1985-86, women and children in South Australia were specifically
allocated less than 1% of the budget. As the world’s first attempt, it later became the model for
gender auditing attempted by the Republic of South Africa and the Commonwealth of Nations, as well
as others.
